The package offer
Disney’s new room-and-ticket offer provides savings of up to $250 per night on select four-night, four-day—or longer—Walt Disney Travel Company packages with a Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Eligible stays run on select nights from January 3 through July 28, 2027. The advertised savings vary by resort and travel period:
- Up to $250 per night at listed deluxe and deluxe-villa resorts for most nights from February 28 through July 28, or $150 per night for most Sunday–Thursday stays from January 3 through February 25.
- Up to $150 per night at listed moderate and selected resort categories for most nights from February 28 through July 28, or $75 per night for most Sunday–Thursday stays from January 3 through February 25.
- Up to $60 per night at listed value resorts for most nights from February 28 through July 28, or $40 per night for most Sunday–Thursday stays from January 3 through February 25.
The offer requires a minimum four-night stay and a four-day date-based theme-park ticket. Disney says the allocated package inventory is limited. The offer cannot be combined with another discount or promotion, and resort, room-type, and date exclusions apply.

The room-only alternative
Disney is also advertising savings of up to 25% on select rooms at Disney Resorts Collection hotels for eligible stays from January 3 through April 29, 2027.
Room-only can be worth comparing when you do not need the package’s exact ticket structure, are staying fewer nights, or want more flexibility around the rest of the trip. The highest advertised percentage does not apply to every resort, room, or date.

What I would compare for you
I would price the same trip both ways:
- Your actual travel dates—not an idealized example.
- The resort and room category you would genuinely choose.
- The park-ticket length and options you actually need.
- The final package total, including taxes and any added components.
- A sensible alternate date or resort if the value changes materially.
If you already have a qualifying Disney reservation, the official offer page says you can check whether the new promotion can be applied. Availability is not guaranteed, so an existing reservation should be repriced rather than canceled first.

Passport season is about to get quieter
The U.S. Department of State currently lists routine processing at 4–6 weeks and expedited processing at 2–3 weeks. Those estimates do not include mailing time; allow up to two weeks for an application to arrive and up to two additional weeks for a completed passport to be delivered. Disney Cruise Line’s fall 2027 and spring 2028 itineraries opened for general booking on September 8, 2026. The schedule includes the Disney Wish from New York, with 5-, 6-, and 7-night Atlantic Canada cruises and Bermuda itineraries. Specific pricing and cabin availability change by sailing, so no “from” fare is quoted here.
Hero of the Seas arrives in Miami
Royal Caribbean says its new Icon Class ship, Hero of the Seas, will arrive in Miami in August 2027. The published program features seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries, with Perfect Day at CocoCay included on every sailing. Pricing is dynamic, so compare by exact sailing, cabin category, and total included experience.

Compare the complete trip—not the largest advertised discount.
For Disney, that means matching the hotel, room category, tickets, dates, and full total. For a cruise, it means comparing the cabin, taxes and fees, gratuities, drinks, Wi-Fi, dining, flights, transfers, and any pre- or post-cruise hotel stay.
A good offer should improve the trip you want. It should not push you into a trip that only looks better in the headline.
